This is great! God put together just the right combination of people for Team Tambov 2011. You at HBC who have seen Megan Eberhardt in action when she organizes an event will be thrilled to know her skills work on different continents and in different languages. Jen is the perfect accomplice and their plans for camp have launched. I'm amazed at all they brought together for something so far from home. Larry and Rader will begin to shine when the games unfold, and my role as Mighty Mouth begins when the preaching starts this afternoon.
The kids are divided into four teams. They're now coming up with their team name, team cheer and team flag. Megan and Jen brought all the materials for the flags and to paint and decorate them. For some reason, all the pink paint is left over :) Some time tomorrow the Americans will judge the flags and cheers and begin awarding points in the Winter Camp Olympics. Each game and activity will contribute to overal Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for the team.
